March 2012 - New York, New York!!!
New York is the focus of attention for three of our artists in March 2012 …
The Morgenstern Trio is celebrating its debut in Carnegie Hall on March 13th.

Julian Prégardien is a guest artist with Collegium Vocale Gent und it's conductor Philippe Herrewegh for Bach's St. Matthew's Passion in the Lincoln Center.

And the Danish String Quartet was chosen by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) as "Quartet in Residence".

"The year starts with a special concert experience. Our much respected ensemble, the Danish String Quartet from Kopenhagen present a musical weekend during the Heidelberger Frühling week. Between the 20th and 22nd January, the four musicians will be playing several concerts with various other musicians at the Paedagocical High School
in Heidelberg.
Scandinavian Folkmusic will meet classical music à la Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn, Igor Strawinsky oder Richard Strauss.

by Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, Johannes Brahms and
Franz Schreker sung by Julian Prégardien.

Congratulations!
On 1st November 2011 das Danish String Quartet received the "Carl Nielsen og Anne-Marie Carl Nielsens Hæderspris" in Kopenhagen.
This Prize is Danemark's most prestigious award.
